The Lumerian Candidate is a feature film produced by Crossing Bridges Films. I was contracted to create over 50 visual effects shots for this film. In order to be able to deliver on the high volume of work I had to develop tools using Python and Blinkscript to optimize my Nuke Workflow. In additional some tasks required me to use Houdini to create CG FX. Types of shots included things from simple clean-up to creating various hallucinogenic effects to grand space shots. Rider is a short science-fiction racing film created by me and my peers. I have been involved in the project from the very beginning. I created storyboards and previsualizations in Unreal Engine to create a plan for executing the production. I designed vehicles by utilizing my background in illustration combined with my skills in Photoshop and new generative AI tools. I was able to bring two of those vehicles designs to life by using Autodesk Maya. My primary role for the production was to be able to contribute several different kinds of FX to the production, including rigid-body vehicle destruction simulations, vehicle trail pyro and RBD, as well as some fantastical effects such as an EMP visualization and a fuel canister exploding in an engine. All these effects were created in Houdini. Additionally, I composited several CG shots in Nuke.

America’s Consequence is a short film directed by Hannah Setzler. I was responsible for managing the visual effects for this project, which includes talent recruitment, shot planning, on-set VFX supervision, post-production management, and compositing. The majority of the shots involved simple clean-up or screen-placements.
